Effingham camping 2010

A few images from the annual camp/burn in Effingham, IL. We realized that we're coming up on our 20th year next time round. A group of Chicago Tribune employees, and friends began this yearly ritual to blow off some steam - which has elevated to blow'in up much more than that, hence the outing now on private property since the state parks in Illinois and Wisconsin have us on a list (kidding). 

Many thanks to Bryan, Kay and Don for their hospitality, and our sincere apologies to their neighbors and livestock.

From the Heartland

Went for a ride with good friend Bob Fila, looking for barns. 

Came across a few other things as well. From Monroe, WI, through DeKalb, IL. 

Bob was hoping to see some clouds, but I didn't mind the large graduated blue color.
